Best time to visit: Spring, fall.

Pros: Very quiet, off the beaten path, views of sunset and mountain ranges.

Cons: Have to drive on a dirt road to find a place to park. Nearest potable and dump is at a gas station off of I15.

Do not confuse this with Valley of Fire State Park as that is fee based! We only stayed one night, but check out Valley of Fire State Park for amazing views of the rock formations. Las Vegas is not too far away for a fun visit.
