Well, life did not turn out as that…Find out what a mom really means has we celebrate YOU!
Do You Have Too Many Books?
I love to read books. The smells, the feeling of holding a paperback book, maybe a little worn around the edges, a little yellowing or even brown on the pages indicating a book well read and kept for many years, or a fresh, crisp new book, the excitement I anticipate when I turn the first page to get lost in…
Do you have too many books? Well, I do not think there is such a thing, but this story is not just about books. Read on and be inspired by a popular book I read!
Thoughts About Living the Fulltime RV Lifestyle
As I ponder living the fulltime RV lifestyle, sitting on my lawn chair (do people still call these chairs lawn chairs?), looking out at a desert landscape something, I see something I have not seen in a while: clear blue skies with nary a cloud. How I missed the desert! The wind plays with my bangs on my forehead with a gentleness as I turn my head with a small pony tail caught up on my head. Peace is reigning once again with a sigh of contentment. I feel so fortunate to see so many different landscapes, from desert to forests with the Rockies in between. I mean who would not want to travel and see something other than their house or a small cubicle they work in?
Dealing With Loss While Fulltime RVing
I cannot forget that phone call. That face I saw on the phone. He did not see me but I saw him. Sleeping, but was it peacefully? I just wanted to be next to him, let him know I was there as he was preparing for his journey to a new destination where I would never see him this side of heaven again. But being several states away, how could I be there?

A New Lifestyle Change for the Better?
Sitting on the passenger seat, with my heart cast low, looking out the window and stealing glances at my husband, wondering why we started this lifestyle. I missed my kids terribly and the weird thing is, we were visiting places we only dreamed of, and yet I was depressed.

The Kids Have Left, Now What?
Walking in the hot, blazing sun, I wiped my brow, water in my other hand, ready to go inside another apartment, looking for the one that would be a dwelling for her, thinking, “Is this too soon?” My throat constricted as I thought of my baby leaving the nest. I wanted to push off father time and hold her just a little longer, repeating the words, “Not yet, not yet.” But no, time was marching on, too quickly, and I knew this time was coming, but how was my momma heart going to react? Was I ready? Was she ready?
How To Celebrate The Holidays In Your RV
I remember as a child taking a drive to look at Christmas lights, delight lighting up my face as I saw the colorful twinkles, reds and greens and whites, but sometimes different than the usual, like blue, pink, purple. The colors put warmth in my heart, especially as I would decorate my own house someday with treasures saved up over the years.
I would like to share tips how to celebrate the holidays in your RV or even a small space. Please join me!
How To Have Endurance
Running. Sometimes we run for fun, or for a sport or a goal. It can be a great way to get in shape, in toning our legs, getting rid of the fat. My son used to do cross country running when he was in high school. He had to stay focused, enduring the pains and tiredness, till he got to the finish line, which was the final prize.
We can look at endurance as the strength and the motivation to keep going and not quit.
Are You Balanced?
I want to have a day where I don't think about my balance. A balanced person has many meanings, such as a person with a good career, a satisfying family life, and hobbies to expand and explore with. You might look at your neighbor, a coworker or a friend and say they are more balanced then you. How do you know?

But…
I was disappointed.
It was not what I thought it would be.
Quite the opposite.
I was heartbroken, disappointment flowed through my veins. What was the purpose?

My nose tingled slightly. What was that delightful aroma? Letting my nose sniff out the delicious bouquet, I quickly cast my eyes down to a vast array of wildflowers with the colors of violet, gold and snowy white. They blended like a blanket cascading down a mountain.
Your Disappointments are God’s Appointments
Wearing shorts and a t-shirt, with a jacket wrapped around me, I stepped out on the pavement and looked ahead, with adventure in my soul. Looking down and across the dirty snow, I realized that we could not go further, my heart was was let down, realizing we would have to turn around and go elsewhere. Sunday drives was one of the best things I remember as a little girl. Piling in a car, with eager faces and thoughts of wondering what we would see that day would fill my heart.
