I never heard of the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway until we came to Wyoming, but I am so glad we traversed it as it is so AMAZING! I think next to the Beartooth Highway (located in both Wyoming and Montana) this is the 2nd best scenic highway to drive. Plus you can access the famous Beartooth Highway from the Chief Joseph! So what is the hub bub about on this particular road? Well, be prepared for a spectacular views of the Rockies, plenty of paved hills to keep your balance in check, wildflower alert in the summer and it does spill out onto the Beartooth Highway. Bring a camera and have plenty of time to explore the fabulous Chief Joseph Scenic Byway!
