Why You SHOULD Take Photos!
I was talking to a neighbor recently and we got in a short but sweet discussion about photos. I was sharing that my husband and I were planning a trip where a camera was a MUST, and I was super excited to adventure to a new place and take stunning photos. You can say I was bubbling with joy at the prospect of going to this new destination and thinking about the angles I can use, plus the creativity I can muster in mind when it comes to photos. You can almost say I was born with a camera!
She said this in response, “Why bother? There are so many photos on the internet of the same place. I will see it on the internet if I want to view the destination.”
How incredibly sad!
Though I agree with her about the internet being overly saturated with photos, I do not believe there is enough photos in the world that have been taken. I mean, think about it, would not the world be an unhappy place if there were only limited amount of photos, even if they were outdated? How would you be able to see things if you want to see them ahead of time, as you plan your next vacation?
I thought about this for a time, feeling sorry for this friend, but also thinking how I could encourage her and you to take photos, whether you use a cell phone, a disposable camera, a camera with film or a digital camera. So here goes!

Create beautiful memories! They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, and I truly believe it! Not only are you creating these precious memories for yourself, but also for others, such as loved ones or those that are thinking about going to that amazing destination you just went to!
Think of the legacy you can leave with your loved ones! Once you pass on (not to be morbid), you have evidence of your life in photos and the fascinating the places you have been!
It is fun!!!!! There is nothing like capturing the gorgeous setting before you and seeing the photo right away! No more dropping it off at a store and waiting for the “film” to be developed!
It is so easy today! Honestly, cell phones have fabulous lens where the photos can almost look as good as if you had a camera, even a professional camera to take it! Plus, you can edit the photos right away, store them or share them. Bueno!
It is a once in a lifetime destination you are going to, like another country, and you MUST take those amazing photos! You will be thankful!
I can sum it all up like this: JUST DO IT!
I want to challenge you in this: flood the internet with your photos (you do not have to be a professional!) and see the possibilities!
