I think I have a love affair with ice cream, especially those that offer a unique perspective of this delightful treat. Colorful scoops that cannot wait to taste your palette, splashy sprinkles ready to gently fall on your choice of ice cream, flavorful syrups dripping down with a tinge of sweetness. This might sound like a lot of calories or even something your diet will not allow, but this is different. You know what this delightful shop is? A vegan ice cream shop!

Yep, right in the heart of Durango, Colorado, this wonderful place is called Cream Bean Berry. It is DAIRY FREE and organic, which sounds absolutely delightful to me. It is a cute dining experience as you walk in. When we were visiting, there was some construction, but the shop was open with plenty of guests.

The servers greet you warmly, eager to take your order. It is so hard to choose which flavor you like, but you can always come back another day and order other flavors. You have a choice to put your ideal creation in a bowl or a cone, and they have a variety of cones. Since these are good ingredients, it will be a little more expensive than your typical Dairy Queen or Baskin Robbins. But so much worth it!

We took our tantalizing desserts outside, while the downtown was bustling with tourists and car sounds. But it was just fine. I focused on my dessert and the yumminess it created for both my palette and tummy!
