Crepes and Coffee

I used to make sweet crepes when I was a teen. Oh how I loved making the fluffy crepes, with oodles of butter and syrup to make the crepe even sweeter. It would fill my tummy up to overflowing, keeping me to eat less the rest of the day with each biteful of sweetness and deliciousness. And I found just the place to satisfy that mighty carb temptation, but only as much carbs as you want!

Cody Coffee Roaster is conveniently located at the local airport, nicely situation for those of you that would rather fly into Cody, Wyoming rather than drive.

Upon entering, I noticed the large chalkboards, full of coffee and food choices, plus hot chocolate. Let your mind slowly absorb the contents on the boards as there are plenty of choices. Savory and sweet crepes (which could be served gluten free), sandwiches (also could be served gluten free), and flavors of coffee that will whet your appetite.

3 cheers for gluten free! Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!

You have a choice to sit at a bar or the ample seating arrangements with high tables and chairs. Since this coffee shop is at the airport, they have pilot training and testing, so low whispers and good manners are a priority. If you had an important test, especially to fly an airplane with plenty of people, would you like peace and quiet for the test?

I ordered a savory crepe with ham and swiss cheese, all gluten free, while John ordered a sandwich (also gluten free) that was full of roast beef and veggies. I cannot say good enough things about the crepe I ate. It was filling, with warm ham and cheese melted at the right consistency and washed it down with a steaming cup of hot chocolate.

So the next time you are in Cody, Wyoming, why don’t you check out Cody Coffee Roaster? Not only will you get great coffee and food choices, but also a nice view of the mountains as you head toward Yellowstone!
